Frequently Asked Questions

What are your fees?

Our Chicago fees are $325 for one side of a file (Buyer or Seller), or $375 for both sides.

Is there a fee if our file cancels?

​

Never!  We’re all Real Estate veterans - no commission = no fee, is how we see it.

Will I always work with the same TC?

​

We assign files based on workload, to ensure prompt and proper service.  It’s one of the benefits of hiring a team of TCs, rather than just an individual.  However whenever possible we’ll keep you with the same TC, and if you request a specific TC we’ll always do our best to honor that.  Similarly, if you love working with us but perhaps didn’t ‘click’ with your previously assigned TC, just let us know and we’ll happily pair you with someone else next time.

Will it be clear to my clients who you are, and what your role is?

Absolutely!  Many of our electronic communications come from “Jameson SIR TC” and email introductions clarify our role, and that we’re on your team.  We even have similar logo colors to Jameson’s, so we have a visual association as well.

What do you do exactly, and what don't you do?

Great question!  We’re here to facilitate documentation as laid out on each of our services pages (Buyer and Listing), so you can minimize interruptions and late nights at work.  We’re primarily a back-end administrative support, so we’re not going to take on any tasks that require licensing in IL, or take any action or send any communication of our own volition. 

Do you work weekends?

Because nothing can come due on a weekend, we take that time to recharge, and avoid burnout.  However, we do have a Text number which we call “The Batphone” for those rare instances when you have a question or need something on a weekend.

How do I get in touch with you when I’m running around?

Speaking of our Text number, if ever you need to wave a red flag, it’s 858-375-6126 (also on our Contact page and in our App under “Company Info).  We’re also at 888-215-7358 and the greeting will guide you to the right person.  Email is usually most appropriate given we’re focused on documentation, and we’re very responsive, but feel free to use whatever avenue works best for you.

How do I know what team member can best address my needs?

Our entire team is available to you anytime, but we do have specific roles and responsibilities.  Your assigned TC is usually the best person to advise on anything file-specific.  If you need to escalate a question or concern, our Director of Operations, Neda Muqaddam at 888-215-7358 Option 2, is your best bet.  Finally, if you have a question about our business or practices, Mike Meltzer at Option 1 is your guy.

Does it matter that you’re in California?

​

Not at all!  Our work requires no licensure in IL, and because our interaction with your Clients in minimal, there’s no reason for them to notice or be concerned.  Our Team begins responding to communications at 9AM CST, and we're still here working well into the Illinois evening hours.
